Austin Shakespeare hoists a tankard to Oktoberfest with SHAKESBEER, an afternoon of microbrews, Ruby’s BBQ and live music from RENT PARTY, Austin’s new hot jazz ensemble. The Brass House hosts the event on its covered patios and beer hall, where local brewers including Solid Rock will serve and demo their brews. Ruby’s BBQ chicken, brisket, and sausage will keep you steady on your feet and Rent Party will keep them moving—there’s room to dance! Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door, and benefit Austin Shakespeare’s crowd-pleasing productions.
